Justice Pin
Legalization is a Civil Rights Issue
100% of the profit from the sales of our Justice Pin will be invested in the equity and justice work being done in the cannabis industry. In collaboration with Boulders Only 14er we have produced a line of infused chocolates that are available directly from them. Simultaneously we have launched an ongoing social initiative to address the racist policy that traps many people in the prison industrial complex and prevents their participation in an billion dollar industry. Legalization is a civil rights issue and regardless of your personal consumption the taxes collected benefit the public.
We stand with the millions of people who have lost their livelihoods, their freedom, and their lives in the decades-long war on drugs. We stand with the broken families and the criminalized youth. We stand with the communities destroyed and those communities still struggling. Recognizing privilege is an essential step in the journey to repair and build an equitable system. Acknowledging the historical legacy of discrimination must be followed by action. There is work being done to engage intersectional dialogue and an equitable future is being built.
We support this work and as members of the cannabis community we join the collective voice for justice.
100% of the sales from the Justice Pin will be donated to support BIPOC led organizations doing the work that must be done for long-lasting social equity. We will be amplifying their voices and sharing their initiatives.
Please support our campaign for justice - buy a pin, wear it and talk about what it means with your community. Help us amplify the voices of change-makers, spread their messages and join us in building an equitable future.

What we have invested in so far:
National Expungement Week provides year-round services and health safety resources that will empower communities to adapt, sustain, survive and create in pursuit of equity. N.E.W. is powered by people of color, supported by Cage-Free Repair and brought to the community through a dedicated group of grassroots community organizers/advocates. N.E.W. efforts build up to a week of awareness/action with coordinated relief clinics, discussions and healing sessions aiming to provide access to relief, equity and opportunity in communities historically and presently affected by the War on Drugs.
Cage Free Repair / Cage Free Cannabis
The War on Drugs has disproportionately harmed communities of color.
People have lost jobs, education, housing, their liberty, their families, and their lives to this War.Now they deserve equity, justice, and repair: ownership of cannabis businesses, full and automatic expungement, and community reinvestment of tax revenue and corporate philanthropy. Cage-Free Cannabis is rooted in three kinds of justice:
Reparative - We coordinate expungement events and support both people and organizations from communities harmed by the War on Drugs. Economic - We create jobs for communities of color and advocate for an equitable industry. Environmental - We promote a sustainable cannabis industry.
As the United States moves away from the criminalization of cannabis, giving rise to a major new industry, there remains the fundamental injustice inflicted upon those who have suffered criminal convictions and the consequences of those convictions.
At the Last Prisoner Project we utilize a three-pronged approach to securing FULL freedom for the communities we serve. Through intervention, advocacy, and awareness campaigns the Last Prisoner Project works to redress the past and continuing harms of these unjust laws and policies.
We believe that anyone profiting from or freely engaging in the legal cannabis industry has a moral imperative to work towards restorative justice. No one should remain incarcerated or continue to suffer the collateral consequences of prohibition and the War on Drugs which has and continues to disproportionately impact communities of color.
